Thank you for your interest in our Junior Interior Designer position with MK Redesign. We strive to create a positive and encouraging work environment where our passion for design and serving our clients shines through all we do.

MK Redesign is an interior design company in La Crosse, WI. We work primarily on residential homes through interior design, large-scale remodels, and new build projects.

The role of Junior Designer is responsible for working within a team environment, collaborating directly with the Procurement Manager and Senior Designers. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, helping on projects of various size and scale to achieve client’s design goals.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Assisting Senior Designers with the execution of all project goals through all design phases.
• Independently formulate designs under the guidance of the Senior Designer.
• Work independently on creating 2-d/ 3-d and cabinet designs/renderings
• Take initiative, problem solve, collaborate & communicate effectively with the Design Team
• Prioritize tasks and coordinate completion of projects
• Comfortable communicating with various vendors
• Maintain and help organize the Studio library materials
• Develop, prepare, and produce quality presentations to prepare Senior Designers for client presentations
• Assist with furniture installations

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented.
• Amazing communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be assertive and clear with vendors and subcontractors.
• Must have a reliable car with a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Excellent knowledge of applications such as Google Drive, Word, and Excel.
• Canva: 1+ years (Preferred)
• Interior design: 2+ years (Required)
• AutoCAD or Similar Program: 1+ years (Required)
