Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mig Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding on food-grade equipment and should not be someone who has just completed schooling. This role is crucial for our manufacturing operations, ensuring quality and precision in welding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mig welding on stainless steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively for fabrication tasks.
• Ensure quality in welding on food-grade equipment.

Skills Needed

• 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
• 2 years of experience in Mig welding on stainless steel.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with food manufacturing processes.
• No certifications required.

Work Environment

Our facility is heated but not climate controlled, emphasizing safety with excellent records and regular training. Welders typically work independently at their own cell with guidance available when needed. We provide steel-toed boots annually, safety glasses, and welding helmets to ensure safety and comfort during work hours. The standard working hours are Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with rare overtime requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Humboldt, IA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $31.00/hr.
