Seeking an Oracle Database Administrator
100% remote, if located in Indianapolis will be required to go onsite 2-3 times a week.
Oracle certifications are preferred

• Work with internal and external customers to coordinate and meet business, technical, and functional requirements in a highly available, mission- critical database environment
• Coordinate the identification, implementation, and maintenance of processes, procedures and tools for database administration and information management
• Work with multiple versions of database systems to support varied IT functions such as testing, reporting, training, and others
• Collaborate with the development teams to support database code optimization and tuning of SQL and other programming functions
• Provide prompt diagnosis and resolution of infrastructure issues that have an impact on critical and non-critical applications
• Understand corporate change management and security procedures to ensure compliance
• Prioritize and manage backlog work to address outstanding issues in a timely and accurate manner
At least eight years of related Information Technology experience(required), Specific experience within any of the following:
• Specific experience with Linux or Windows operating systems
• Specific experience in administering databases such as Oracle is required
• Specific experience with Oracle RAC/ASM is required
• Specific experience in administering databases such as Postgres is preferred
• Specific experience with Oracle Exadata platform is preferred
• Experience with databases on cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, OCI) preferred
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
