Since our founding in 1998, we have delivered over 30,000 units, representing a market value of more than $3.5 billion. We are proud to be consistently recognized for excellence as a contractor, employer, and growing business.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team. This is an entry-level role with a clear path to grow into an Assistant Superintendent position. You will be on an active job site each day, working alongside field teams, coordinating with trade partners, and watching the project take shape in real time. This is a true boots on the ground role where you are part of the daily progress, not observing from a distance. You will help maintain jobsite organization, coordinate subcontractor activities, and track materials. Further, you will contribute to meeting schedule and compliance goals through inspection coordination, detailed recordkeeping, and verification of adherence to quality standards.

  • Serve as a safety advocate by promoting and enforcing established safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain jobsite documentation including the Field Tracking Log, photos of construction progress, inventory, rental equipment, appliances, labor timesheets, and notices
  • Assist the Project Superintendent in managing and tracking general condition costs and resources, including dumpsters, equipment rentals, power usage, and labor, to maximize job site profitability
  • Maintain current and accurate project records including drawings, permits, inspection reports, and meeting notes
  • Ensure project information is readily available by promptly scanning and uploading documents into designated project folders in Procore
  • Review construction drawings and submittals to build technical knowledge and improve field leadership readiness
  • Schedule and coordinate site and building inspections with the appropriate authorities
  • Ensure inspection documentation is prepared in advance and deadlines are communicated
  • Assist with punch list completion and support resolution of jobsite issues

REQUIREMENTS

  • Skilled in using computers, smartphones, and iPads, inputting data, and verifying the accuracy of information
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology
  • Willingness and ability to learn construction project management software and tools
  • OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain within a designated time frame
  • Must have a valid Driver's License

BENEFITS

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance plans
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution
  • Employee assistance programs for physical, financial, and mental well-being
