Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency by scripting end‑to‑end processes and contributing to catalogue/workflow enhancements.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Python Developer job responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python and PowerShell to streamline infrastructure operations.
Perform API integrations across systems and applications to enable seamless data and workflow connectivity.
Design, script, and implement end‑to‑end process automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support and enhance workflows, including ServiceNow catalog and workflow automation.
Manage and optimize code repositories using GitHub, ensuring proper version control and deployment practices.
Work with SQL Server for data handling, queries, and integration tasks supporting automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6–8 years of hands‑on experience in infrastructure automation and scripting.
Strong expertise in Python, PowerShell, and API integration for automation solutions.
Experience with GitHub, SQL Server, and exposure to ServiceNow catalog/workflow processes.
