Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• Certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or CTS-D (Certified Technology Specialist - Design)
• Expertise in AV-over-IP deployments (e.g., Dante, NDI, SDVoE)
• Proficient in compliant cable management, containment installation, and patching
• Familiar with AV software platforms and remote monitoring technologies
• Experience interfacing AV systems with building automation and IT networks
• Understanding of AV control systems like Crestron, Extron, or AMX
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software for system layouts
• Knowledgeable in networking and IP-based AV solutions
• Understanding of acoustics and sound system design principles
• Project management experience leading AV initiatives
• Demonstrated experience as an AV Engineer or in a similar role
• Willingness to travel for installations and support
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertaining to AV setups
• Proficient in reviewing architectural, MEP, and AV schematics and drawings
• Skilled at identifying design conflicts and integration challenges
• Familiar with US building regulations and standards for AV installations
• Experienced in acoustic analysis, including STC, RT60, and ambient noise measurements
• Competent in calibrating DSPs, equalizers, speaker arrays, and microphones
• Ability to test and adjust lighting systems for optimal coverage and DALI/DMX compliance
• Skilled in evaluating AV scenarios to enhance performance and user satisfaction
• Advanced knowledge of structured cabling for network/data, video, audio, and electrical systems

• Designing and implementing audio-visual systems according to client specifications
• Installing and setting up AV equipment including projectors, audio systems, and video conferencing tools
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with AV systems
• Configuring and calibrating AV equipment to achieve optimal functionality
• Offering technical assistance and training for users on AV system operations
• Collaborating with network engineers for seamless integration of AV systems into existing infrastructure
• Managing and keeping track of the inventory for equipment and accessories
• Staying informed about the latest developments in AV technologies and industry practices
• Interpreting detailed system installation diagrams and technical documentation
• Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
• Providing comprehensive project handovers, including documentation, client training, and resolution of snag issues
• Complying with BS 7671 and UK standards regarding safe and high-quality wiring practices
