Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Schedule TBD (NOTE: Shift differential available for this float position. Schedule may change depending on needs of clinic, but would still fall within Monday-Friday.)

Highlights of the position:

  • Compassionate, Collaborative Care – Demonstrate empathy, strong communication, and sound clinical judgment while supporting patients and the care team.

  • Direct Provider Support – Assist providers with patient care, treatments, and clinical decision-making to ensure smooth, high-quality visits.

  • Clinical Desktop & Chart Management – Conduct chart reviews, manage medication refills, and support pre-visit planning and other clinical requests.

  • Patient Preparation & Procedures – Room patients, maintain exam spaces, administer medications and vaccines, draw blood, and process labs under provider direction.

  • Quality & Compliance – Support adherence to quality standards and help implement best practices across the clinic.

  • Patient & Team Engagement – Collaborate across clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient experience and clinic workflows while ensuring patients feel heard and respected.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Evidence of Medical Assistant training including all the essential job functions, knowledge, skills, and abilities listed here in this job description, or MA Certification required.
  • Will have up to-date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute. Must obtain within 2 weeks if not current at hire.
  • Initial and maintained Certification is highly encouraged and supported.

Preferred:

  • Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants, or
    CMA- Certification by the AAMA, or
    RMA- Certification by the AMT, or
    CCMA- Certification by the NHA.
    Or prepared to certify within 60 days of hire.
